pyspark.sql.functions.corr(col1, col2)[source]#

Returns a new Column for the Pearson Correlation Coefficient for col1 and col2.

New in version 1.6.0.

Changed in version 3.4.0: Supports Spark Connect.

Parameters

col1Column or str: first column to calculate correlation.
col1Column or str: second column to calculate correlation.

Returns

Column: Pearson Correlation Coefficient of these two column values.

Examples
